Winter Photo Session - Long Island Family Photographer

It is winter on Long Island right now.. brrrrrr.. the temps have been around 20 degrees for what feels like forever.

Have I mentioned I hate the cold?  I like it for all of a second when the first snow falls but then I am over and want summer.

In the winter it is hard to do outside portrait sessions because of how cold it is, but I begged my sister to come over today so I can practice on her family.  (practice..practice.. practice.. ) :)

Here are a few of my favorite from the day... the light was yummy... and I cannot thank my sister and her boys for coming over!!

Great color in these shots. Oh, did I mention we don't have too much snow in LA? :)

But, then again, I don't have too many opportunities to take pictures of people where fur lined hats either.
